Na ghar ditha na gharwala ditha, teri kis kaam kitiyan niyaaza Neither you took care of your house nor members, what is the use of yearning?
Ilam padaya te amal na kita, teri kis kaam kitiyan kaza You gained knowledge but didn’t act on it, what use are your deeds?
Bhulle Shah pata tad lag si, jado chidi fasi hath baaza Oh Bulleh Shah, you’ll realize when the sparrow(you) is caught by the hawk(God). [means when the death will be close to take you, then you will come to know/realise about this]
